Enabling Certificates for your company
Before you can issue any Certificate and allow at an learning, Certificates must first be enabled under config. by system admins. There is a separate article on Certificates and that should be read first. It can be viewed here.
Issuing a Certificate for a Learning
Under Edit Details > Advanced Fields admins will see the checkbox to Issue certificate on completion. If this is ticked a user will be able to download a certificate once the learning has been completed. This option appears for Courses, Events, Programs, and Assessments.
β Existing Learning
When you enable Certificates in config. it is not auto checked on for any existing learning. The learning may already have enrolments, and completions. if you wish to have it turned on for an existing Course for example, you will need tick it under Edit Details > Advanced Fields.
Admin Certificate Download
Admin can access and download a completed certificate for a member by navigating to the Community > Member > Learning and hovering on a completed learning row.
Member Certificate Download
Once completed the user will see on the page action panel Download Certificate. If Send Completion Notification is ticked under Edit Details > Advanced Fields, they will also be notified of completion and advised they can download a certificate.
A member can also download the certificate from their Dashboard > Past Activity tab. Hover on the row and select the ellipsis to reveal a dropdown.
