Setting up venues for in-person sessions

Whenever you are running an event with an in-person training session, or workshop you will need a venue. Venues are created in Config. by System Admins.

A venue must exist and be active before it can be used in sessions any event. In other words, you cannot create a venue on the fly during session creation.

Venue properties

A venue has a:

  • name

  • room name

  • capacity (seats)

  • Google recognisable address

  • Room features e.g. Electronic Whiteboard, Disable Access.

The room can be set to active, or made inactive.
