Building Programs of Learning
In Cognise, a program is made up of a collection of other learning types. This could be for example two courses, and an event.
A program is built using existing learning.
A program can have its learning content re-ordered under edit details.
Example - Split Days
Let's say you have two classes or workshops spaced and you really want people to attend both to complete the course. A program is a way to do this.
You can create two events add sessions and then create a program and add the events to the program. The member starts the program and registers in Day one event and then day 2 - once marked as attended in both they have completed the program.
π₯ Hot Tip:
If you wish the program to be found in the library but not the learning within the program - then place the program in a catalog and have each learning in the program in no catalog. This means learners will only see the program, and can start the program without accidentally finding the learning in the library and starting that.
If you wish to further prevent add an approval to the program.
If someone has started, or completed a learning in a program prior to taking the program this will show as in progress, or completed in the program.
