Creating a Custom Field
Custom fields are created in Config. When created, a custom meta field will appear on every User profile.
Custom Field Types
There are two types of custom fields: Simple, or Defined. A custom field can be set as required and/or user editable. A simple custom field is a text field type.
A defined custom field creates a dropdown. For example, a defined meta fields called Location with the defined meta of Auckland, Melbourne, Sydney, and Wellington.
Custom defined meta fields also appear in reporting as available filters.
