Where is my data stored?
Cognise is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The servers where Cognise's data is securely stored are located in Australia (AWS Asia Pacific (Sydney)).
Can you tailor Cognise to our workplace requirements?

All customisation requests need to be carefully scoped before any dev work is even considered. Scoping is a chargeable service.
Does Cognise have APIs?
Yes - extensive use of APIs. They are not currently publicly accessible. Please get in touch. Cover what you need to achieve and that you/engineering think access to APIs would help your company achieve this outcome.
Migrating content - can you bring ours into Cognise?
We'll help you migrate content from another LMS and/or system. Content migration can be tricky. We would need to undertake a scope exercise to understand:
What content you are trying to migrate.
Where the data currently lives e.g. another LMS, an ECM like SharePoint.
Content types involved e.g., SCORM files, .mp4 files, PDF.
Whether there needs to be any user restrictions applied once migrated.
Content libraries - is Cognise able to integrate, and capture enrolments?

We use a HR system to onboard users to our workplace - are you able to automate onboarding to Cognise?

Can I use Cognise on my mobile device, or iPad?
You can use Cognise on any web browser on your iPad, tablet, or mobile phone. Please keep in mind that Cognise is not yet fully optimised for a mobile experience.
Who built Cognise and why?
Cognise has been hand crafted by a talented team in New Zealand. Every pixel, every line of code has been carefully and methodically considered.
We reviewed many corporate LMS - most in our opinion are completely 'kitchen sink' and built for yesteryear's audience. They are difficult to use, over the top expensive, and terribly slow to get anything done rapidly - admins practically need a Phd to manage any aspect. We built a lightweight, future proofed learning management platform enabling all users to be creators by making use of a state of art learning creation tool.
