Assessing for Competency
In Cognise, assessments are used to assess performance of skills. Assessments can be self-assessed, have a peer assess, have a single assessor, or multiple.
Learner Submitting for Marking
The learner who enrols in the assessment can upload work for marking. The assessor is notified and can approve or decline. If multiple assessors are required then the assessment cannot be fully marked until all assessors have responded.
Assessments can be retaken and work re submitted. There is a lot of flexibility.
The candidate will see under their request tab the following before any assessor has marked the assessment.
Internal Assessors will see assessments outstanding on the Requests main menu tab.
