Using AI in Cognise

AI is an exciting and evolving part of Cognise. It helps you create structured, engaging learning experiences faster. From detailed prompts to comprehensive editable outlines to complete course drafts. Then, on page rapid editing and conversion of content blocks, to quiz questions - Cognise provides course creators with a comprehensive AI toolset that will enable them to prompt, create and build much faster than ever before. Using Cognise AI you may find you reduce time to market from days to a few hours - it is literally like jumping from the 'family car' into a 🏎️ Formula 1.

Like any new technology, we’re all still learning how to get the best from it.

Early days, big potential

We’re still at the beginning of our AI journey. The tools and features you see in Cognise today are the first step in what will become a more powerful, more intuitive creative partner. We actively encourage you to explore these features and see how AI can speed up your learning creation process.

Prompting is a skill

Think of prompting like giving directions, the clearer and more specific you are, the better the results. Try describing your audience, choose a tone, add a key focus area when you write your prompt. Add any key learning materials or source files.

With a bit of practice, you’ll see how small refinements lead to stronger, more relevant outputs. As you get better, so will your draft output and your final deliverable.

Editing and review are essential

AI-generated outlines are a starting point. Once an outline is created, you can edit, move, add, or delete lines and sections, create new pages and more to suit your goals before generating a full draft.

Always take time to review content closely, ensuring it’s accurate, relevant, and aligns with your learning objectives. Remember, once a draft is created you can also make manual adjustments or use our AI tools to help you refine the draft into a final deliverable.

Occasional stream errors

Sometimes in AI gen, you might encounter an AI “stream error” or an incomplete response. This can happen for a number of reasons, simply try again, and it will usually resolve itself.

Accuracy and responsibility

While Cognise’s AI is designed to help you create quickly, the accuracy of the final content always remains the responsibility of the creator or reviewer. You can learn more about this in our AI Terms.

We welcome your feedback
